Ellen and Brian | McLean Wedding Photography

Ellen and Brian had a small, low-key wedding at home last month. It was supposed to be a backyard wedding, but the ceremony was moved into their living room because of rain. Ellen’s father is a meteorologist, and you can see him monitoring the radar in a photo below. The ceremony was beautiful and the rain let up a bit after the vows, so we were able to take some portraits outside.

Here are some of my favorite images of the day!

Exciting news!

I’m so thrilled that two of my photos were accepted into theĀ ”July” exhibition at the A Smith Gallery! The show runs from July 5th – Aug. 10th in Johnson City, Texas. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it to Texas to see the show first hand, but it was great to see all the images online. You can see them all here!

And these are the two images that are in the show. They are both of my son, Max. The black & white photo was taken at sunset on the beach in Captiva Island, Florida in 2011. The color picture was taken on July 4th, 2012 in Virginia.

I took these photos of four-year-old Ade a couple weeks ago at Algonkian Regional Park. She is a super sweet and adorable kid!

I photographed Mila and her parents a few weeks ago. Here are some of my favorites of this beautiful baby girl.
