The boys played outside with the hose today. Oliver wasn’t a big fan, but Max loved it, as you can see!

Max is obsessed with Angry Birds. OBSESSED! He plays the game all the time on the ipad, my iphone, the computer and even our TV. But he loves his Angry Birds stuffed animals even more than the video game. He brings them everywhere we go. They come to the grocery store with us, they wait in the car for him when he is in school, and they all sleep in his bed with him.
Since this is so much of my daily life right now, I thought this self portrait was appropriate.

Happy spring! March has been beautiful here in the DC area! It’s been warmer than usual, which I love, and everything has bloomed early. This Kwanzan cherry tree in our backyard normally doesn’t bloom until the middle of April.

Last month I photographed the wedding of Farheen and Ahsen. Farheen and I worked together at Discovery, and she is one of the funniest and nicest people I know. I was so excited when she told me she was marrying Ahsen, who is also hilarious and a very sweet guy. Their ceremony was held at the Islamic Center of Washington, DC, with a luncheon afterwards at Indique Heights restaurant in Chevy Chase. Here are some of my favorite images from the day.
